Anal Fissure Ointment – Personal Experience
For the past few days I was busy at work and probably did not consume enough water. I was stressed as well. For a while I have stopped using fiber supplement and MiraLax, because “it” had been going okay down there. But not for the last three days. My stool was difficult to exit. Three difficult BMs in a roll were enough to cause tear and scrape there. So today I had a rather painful bathroom experience with some minor bleeding (which tells me there is a tear). I know tomorrow’s won’t be a pleasant experience either. I just put some Dr. Bulter’s Hemorrhoid Ointment on and am praying tomorrow is a better day.
Feeling really discouraged and defeated right now. I am three and a half months after my hemorrhoidectomy surgery and am still dealing with pain. My C-section healed a lot faster than this. If a surgery takes longer than this to heal, maybe it should not be conducted in the first place. Any disheartening souls out there, let me hear from you.
P.S. Dr. Bulter’s Ointment did not disappoint. My BM on the following day was not as bad. I assume the tear was partially healing. I still have the dull and tightening pain, but not the pain that feels like pushing broken glasses. I am watching my diet and water intake carefully now. Ointment can be helpful, but not magical. Proper BMs are the key.
